Love this stuff! August 22, 2009 Lori P 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love the Yogi brand of Chai tea...whether it's the Redbush or Green tea. It has so much more flavor than other brands of Chai tea and I have tried a ton of varieties. I like to make the tea strong and then add some soy milk to it to make it creamy. It becomes a Chai Latte without all of the sugar you get from the Chai syrups used in coffee shops. It's also good cold.
THE BEST CHAI GREEN I HAVE TASTED June 14, 2009 BABYCAKES311P (CLEVELAND HTS., OHIO USA) I first had the opportunity of having this tea about 13 years ago. The blend used for this tea is very smooth. I have tried several other chai green tea brands, but none can compare to Yogi Tea. I have allowed several friends, and co-workers to sample this tea, and all are hooked on it. I have also tried the redbush chai, and black chai teas from Yogi Tea, all were very good but the taste of the chai green is superb by far. Follow the directions, allowing the tea to steep, to get the full effect, you won't be disappointed. I usually use white sugar only as a sweentener, but have also used Equal sweetener. Thank you Yogi Tea for a wonderful tea.
Yogi Joint Comfort Tea March 27, 2009 Myra R. Edwards (Upper Marlboro, MD USA) I am very happy with this product and I will purchase from this vendor again.
Great aroma, tastes good November 10, 2008 Bubbly3 (Los Angeles, CA) love the smell of the gojiberry green tea, and tastes good, just a little bitter.
Herb-y and Unusual October 17, 2007 O. Brown (Twopeas, WA) ****
This Green Tea Energy from Yogi Tea is a "natural energy boost". It's an unusual, rather herb-y tasting natural herbal tea made from organic green tea leaf, Asian (Panax) ginseng, organic lemongrass, organic spearmint leaf, ginseng-eleuthero extract (Panax ginseng, Panax quinquefolium, Eleutherococcus senticosus), and kombucha . The taste is very difficult for me, and the kombucha comes across extra strong. I predict that you'll either love or hate the taste of this tea; try it first before you buy it in large quantities.
I am definitely impressed with this tea and with Yogi Teas in general. Green Tea Energy comes with an expiration date (a good thing, because it's not full of preservatives, plus you can tell if it is fresh). Yogi Tea seems to be another company (like Numi, Aspen, Traditional Medicinals) that values sustainable and healthy practices. Their web site, yogitea.com, is beautifully designed, with info about each tea they make.
According to Yogi Tea, this tea is 70% organic and is intended to enhance the immune system and to fight fatigue. It contains 28mg of caffeine (compared to 90mg in an 8oz cup of coffee).
I gave this tea only four stars because the taste is so hard for me to handle. It is, however, a quality tea, and if you like it, there are many benefits to be gained.
Recommended, if you can stand the taste.
