 Nice webcam for macs March 12, 2010

I bought this for my mac - it has amazing video quality and sound. However, it only can be used for video/screen captures because it has no drivers for mac. You could by the mac compatible version but personally, it's not worth the extra 30 dollars.

Picture quality was essential for an overseas presentation. The other party loved the clarity. [I wish they had a camera that produced a picture like this one.]

Five minute setup on a 7-year old PC running Windows XP Pro. The video is just a little fuzzy in low light, but with adequate lighting it's excellent. (I like the frustration-free packaging, too.)

I've always used Logitech webcams and this is my third one. The Carl Zeiss lens is amazing! Every detail can now be seen - crystal clear optics, which might not be a good thing! The vid program is great and you can choose many options. I deleted all previous Logitech webcam drivers and programs before installing the software. Installation was fast and easy. I'm VERY happy with this webcam and you will be too.
