Best Toliet seat money can buy... March 4, 2010 J. Long Yes it costs a little more, but the quality is first rate and worth the extra cost. No more accidentally slammed lids in the middle of the night. Easy to clean, Looks sharp. I have purchased one for each bathroom and never will be sorry.
Good Purchase December 9, 2009 Timothy N. Sass (Greenville, NC,USA) This is a very good buy. Easy to order online, track, receipt and install. I like the brand names for quality and Kohler delivered on this. Sturdy, yet light weight. Easy lifting and closing, the works. I have had the product for around a month and no problems.
I'd seriously recommend this product and Amazon without reservation.

Total waste of money November 16, 2009 William N. Harris III (Providence, RI) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
We recently bought a new home and wanted to replace some of the toilet seats in the house. I tried this Kohler seat for our master bath, along with Mayfair's molded wood seat for the guest bath. The Kohler seat cost about 50% more, so I figured Kohler's name and quality typically associated with their products would have been worth it right?.......wrong
The Kohler seat felt flimsy and was very shifty when sitting on it. I attribute all of this to their "Quick-Release" system, which is just poorly designed compared to Mayfair.
The Kohler seat's "quiet close" hinges are not actually 1-piece/integrated into the seat like the Mayfair. I actually had to repair/reinstall the seats hinge mechanism twice within two month's of use. When the seat's hinges failed the third time......it got replaced permanently with another Mayfair, and the Kohler went straight into the trash.
Maybe I got a "lemon", but the Mayfair seems to be hands down a better seat in every way. It is more comfortable, sturdy and the quick release systems is easier/simpler to use.
I never thought I would spend the time to write a review on a toilet seat, but it was so bad, I felt inspired. I would have thought about a return, but it is a used toilet seat.....enough said.
A nice upgrade October 1, 2009 Carlgo (Carmel Valley, CA) Clean, quality plastic, gleaming new and shiny, closing quietly by itself or quickly with a push. It is so nice. Comfortable enough, not being soft or anything? Yes, I played 18 holes of iPhone golf (8 under) without getting up. Now that is comfort.
The bathroom looks...newer. You don't realize how awful the old seat is until you replace it. It seems that the seat will look new and clean for a very long time.
The style, which is very pleasing and modern, fits right in even with an older model toilet. It attaches easily and detaches quickly for cleaning. The old unit was disgusting in that way.
I promise that there will be no video review.
toilet seat August 18, 2009 the yardlady Product seemed well made. It did not come with instructions and therefore did not fit as a replacement easily. It would be better if the product came with information as to which Kohler toilets is would fit or, reverse, one was able to find which replacement seat one could use for a specific toilet. Very distressing to see a company like Kohler which we all respect to leave you stranded like this ezpecially when the seat that originally came with the toilet had an extremely weak, tho' crucial, plastic part which gave out within 3 years of intemittent use in a powder room.
