Convenient, but not perfect March 9, 2010 Huskerhawk Overall, we're happy with this faucet, but at the end of the day, I'm not sure the price justifies the convenience. The two major issues we have with it are that the neck of the unit is not as sensitive as the handle, so we end up touching the handle more often than not. For whatever reason, the curved portion of the neck, which we were expecting to use as the on/off, is not very sensitive, so it doesn't always turn the unit on and off...the handle, however, works fine and reliably. Also, it seems to chew through batteries quickly. We've had it for about six weeks and we're currently on our third set of batteries. Now, it's possible we just had bad batteries, so maybe that's the reason. Rechargeable batteries will be the next step if this continues, to help defray the cost somewhat. We also can't get the facuet to operate without batteries...at all...meaning we can't get water to come out when the batteries die. I thought others had mentioned it still works manually without battery power, but we can't get it to do so...that's a fairly significant issue, so be sure to have an extra set of batteries on hand! Overall, it's a nice faucet, just not sure it's worth the extra price...it does look nice, though, and the pull out spray is really nice with the magnetic feature to re-set it perfectly.

NICE!
We haven't had any trouble with ours like some of the reviewers stated.
I installed it myself and only needed to have the wife steady it during the tightening up of it.
I didn't use the soap dispenser because we have an RO water dispenser in the 3rd hole in our granite counter. And this takes up two holes for the faucet and the handle.
We've had ours since before Thanksgiving 2009 and to date are still loving it.
Some people crack you up when they try and use it. They touch it too fast and repeatedly.
Once I show them to slow down, it works fine for them.

Found the faucet easy to install (just follow the instructions) and works great and I'm not a plumber. Also looks very nice.
Installed it after having new granite counter tops put in and my wife thinks she likes the faucet even more than the counter tops.
Still Going; Damn Cat January 17, 2010 William M. Child 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Updated our kitchen and added the Delta Pillar Touch2O faucet. It has been installed and working for about a month and a half. So far, it has worked very well except for twice it stopped and the indicator light turned from blue to red (no water). Not sure what made that happen, but by unplugging the batteries seemed to reset it and it has been working for approx 4wks just fine. Oh ya, the cat has figured out how to turn it on too so now we have to put the water temp/pressure lever in the off position before we leave the house. Fortunately, the unit shuts itself off after running for about 2 minutes.
So far we are happy with it and would buy it again.
Touch faucet Delta January 17, 2010 K. Michaels (CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The faucet was easy to install but I was a plumber before I retired. It works great for me. However, if your wife has cold hands she might get frustrated with it. It does not respond well to cold hands. So far I've had the faucet for a couple months and it works as discribed. The light is handy so you feel confident that the batteries are good.
Have not had any probelms with the faucet. The soap dispenser is kind of flemsey. I get the feeling that it is about to break off when I try to get soap out of it but it does work and is handy so as not to have to get soap out from under the sink everytime I want to soak a pot in soapy water.
Works great and is a lot of fun...
