Once I had a signal, I fine tuned with the reciever.
It helped find the satellite.
It works April 24, 2009 Joseph Bejm (Wheeling, IL>) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Well it works but it's hard time to just setup the satellite. I setup wrong satellite on the receiver. It just gets the satellites but which is which is hard to say. Finally I Used my receiver to setup and not that finder.

I do order this product Amazon redirect by ANTonline a month ago. The 1st one I order it was never work, so I return it to ANTonline and got only 50% refund(Not much, but better than nothing). Since I'm try to do some work during the Christmas time, I order another one again. I do the same procedure and finially hook up. The light is "ON"(Look ok) When I try to search satellite, I can't even get any signal at all in any direction. So I feel like I'm getting the fail product again.....very very disappointed. This time, I'm not going to return it since I won't get a full refund plus I have to pay the shipping fee by myself. So it going to end up I only have $5 back to my account. IT IS NOT WORTH TO RETURN IT.....SO I DECIDED TO EAT IT AND NOT GOING TO ORDER IT AGAIN....
Very Useful September 16, 2008 James R. Meldrum (Woodbury CT) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
As a full-time RVer with Dish 1000.2 HD service a satellite finder is a necessary tool. I must align to satellites 20-25 times each year. We travel throughout the US and Canada. I put the Philips satellite finder to use the dayn it arrived becausen winds from Ike had caused me to lose satellite 129. I was able to get HD reception back in several minutes with the help of the finder. I would recommend this to anyone who must reset their dish alignment on a regular basis. The price is much lower than my first purchase 6 years ago.
