Opener works great. You can program it for multiple garage doors with a separate code for each. The temporary codes work well and are very easy to program as well. Contrary to some reviews, you do NOT have to press hard on the buttons at all - just push them like you would a TV remote. The unit mounts just about anywhere and takes about 30 seconds to install and another 30 to program.
A wireless Opener, Why did I wait this long? July 26, 2010

1. The opener arrived much sooner than promised.
2. Opened the box
3. screwed in two screws
3. Pushed a few buttons
4. Now my garage door opens and I don't need keys when I leave the house.
What a great system. Sure beats the older wired system that I had that seemed to malfunction almost as I soon as I fixed it.

My original keypad was working intermittently when weather was warm, and not at all when cold outside. This was a real pain. Purchased this new keypad, received it sooner than expected and installed it. I now have trouble free remote entry to my garage. Works every time!!! Love it!!!

common sense (too close to civilization)
lets start by saying that when i got this remote opener, i thought that when you hit the open button, it would pulse the signal for a length of time and open (or close) the door. i was wrong. you have to hold the opener button down a little while, just like you do a regular remote opener, so the door has time to receive the signal. with that, the remote works great. before i figured that out however, i called liftmaster for help because it worked intermittently (needed to hold button down longer because the remote is not as strong as the one in my car). liftmaster was useless. they did not care or want to help and only said return it where you got it- we don't support newly purchased products directly. so, all in all the product is good, i just wanted to explain this so it was known that lift master support is terrible.
