Fast, Convenient, Portable, and Affordable. September 9, 2010 Darian Dinh I did a lot of research before buying this one. Mine came already assembled and ready to ride. Everything is smooth and it's super fast for a scooter. I was doing the same speed with most biker at my university today. Usually they pass me because I walk on my feet like a sucker.
Pro:
* Light (8lbs)
* Easy to fold
* Compact can store anywhere (under the seat on train, under the desk in class)
* Fast and easier to steer because of the bigger wheel
* Price (cheapest price vs it competitor)
Con:
* Bumpy. Oh god it vibrating my whole body going down the road. Now I have to find the smoothest route to my school
* I wish the brake is more effective
* No space to mod shock-absorption =P (kidding)
Overall it's the best scooter for your money.
I am extremely happy with my choice I do not regret it September 5, 2010 Maire I am extremely happy with my choice
I do not regret it.
Great scooter with big weels. Rolls fast.
Everybody watches at us in the street (I bought 3 big like this + 2 little oned for the family).
Excellent product!!! September 3, 2010 bookworm1976 I bought the scooter for my friend and took it for a ride and now I'm hooked and have bought one for myself. Great fun and a smooth ride. Seems very durable. Easy to fold and bring with wherever you go. The wheels are bigger than on most scooters so it's faster too. Love it!
Serves its purpose August 31, 2010 Aririn (Bay Area, CA, USA) It serves its purpose as an adult scooter. One thing that would've been nice to have is a lock on the steering handle to prevent the base from swiveling when it's being carried (folded).
Good scooter, but some problems August 27, 2010 Leon I bought this scooter for my 17-year old son who has difficulty walking. It helps him to get around. Overall, it does a good job, but there are a couple of issues. One is that the handlebar is too low, even though the scooter is marketed for adults (my son is about 5'8"). Also, the handles have sharp edges which dig into his palms. The other issue is more important. The scooter is very hard to fold and unfold. We do it a lot when we travel and put it in the trunk, then take it out at each stop. The little lever at the bottom that you have to pull up in order to fold or unfold the scooter is always stuck, and it takes a lot of time and effort to do the job. I wonder if anyone has advice on how to fix it; otherwise I may have to return it as defective.
