 My Go-To Style of Jeans June 18, 2010

Levi's are classic, and this style and cut is no exception. These jeans continue in the tradition of what what make Levi's great: durable, simple-but-stylish, well-fitting jeans that can be dressed up or down, depending on the situation.
Style and fit is highly subjective and personal, but overall, these are stylish, but not clubby: the stitching is tasteful; flashiness is absent. These are not Jersey Shore jeans.
* Relaxed boot cut fit looks good with sneakers, boots, etc. The boot cut does not flair too much; that is, you're not wearing bell bottoms.
* The crotch does have a little extra room. So does the butt. Because these are relaxed everything is a bit bigger. I wear a 30x30 in these (I'm 5'8", 145lbs); if I wanted to cowboy it up (wear them tight), I could probably fit into a 29x30. I wear a 31x30 in 501s.
* Length is accurate.
Overall, great pair of reasonably priced jeans.
Great fit for the big man June 9, 2010

I recommend this jeans for the big man, I usually require a bit more leg room, and this jean handles perfectly, not to baggy not too tight. Although those of you who don't like the boot cuff too wide this is not the jean for you. Overall a great product.
P.S. Order one waist size less than what you usually wear in 501's, I wear a 40 in 501 and this one I got in 38.

This is the second pair of these i've got from amazon. They hold up well and look good. I can't find these locally and amazon is great for returns on jeans if they don't fit. Will probobly buy agian.

I have learned to expect great products and service from Amazon. Not disappointed this time either! These Levis fit to perfection. Extra room in the thighs and seat. You will love these jeans!
Levi's Hits It Out Of The Park AGAIN With The 557! March 3, 2010

I ordered these Levi's 557 Straight Leg Boot Cut Freebirds last Friday (2/26/2010) and received them yesterday (3/2/2010). They are exactly what I had hoped for. I wear a tough size to find, 34X36's, and gave up a long time ago on finding that size in stores, so have been settling for 34X34's for a LONG time. Found these on Amazon.com last week, for $32 instead of the Retail Price of $44. Shipping is free on denim so I went for it, even though I was skeptical because I never bought a pair of 557's before, let alone have never bought clothes of any kind online. Received them and they are PERFECT. Love the "freebird" color/wash, and the cut is as close as you can get to perfect for my taste and style. Not skin tight, and not baggy. At 33 years old, that's what I'm looking for. I attached two pictures of these (check em out in the customer pictures for these jeans) after I took them out of the box so you can see the views I was wishing I had of these before ordering them. Can't lose with Levi's, it's official. They're making a big comeback in recent years. Amazon ROCKS and Levi's are great too. Ok, I'm going back to shopping. Enjoy!
