Weber table January 30, 2010 Annmarie Bastek Awesome table. Made for the grill. Makes grilling easier because you have a place to put your utensils and plates.
Great addition for my Weber 22.5 December 16, 2009 T. Chan (CA, USA) This is a small price to pay than owning the Weber performer. This table is not bulky. It is light weight to move around with the grill but steady enough to give you space to prepare your ribs, steaks, marinade, seasonings for immediate access. It also has hooks for your grilling tools. It is a great addition to my 22.5 in weber grill without spending tons of money. I am happy with this purchase and make grilling outdoor even more fun.
Great addition for my Weber Grill December 8, 2009 P. Sallmen (Murfreesboro, TN USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This work table is a great addition to my Weber grill. I have always needed a place to set my meat before and after grilling while tending to the grill's lid, vents, etc. This table is sturdy and generously sized (easily held my Thanksgiving turkey). Also useful for setting bowls of marinade & sauces, the transmitter for a wireless meat thermometer, and well suited for just about anything one might need while grilling. I highly recommend this product to any one with a Weber 18.5 or 22.5 charcoal grill.
PS Don't forget to get the Weber 7454 Vinyl Cover to keep your grill and new table out of the elements!
Better than no prep area, but still awkward October 9, 2009 J. R. Boress 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased the work table to go along with our first charcoal grill. We don't have a counter top out by the grill where any items can be placed down. Honestly, this work table offers little benefit. It is better than having no prep area or place to set down food or plates. I'm not arguing against that. However, it is cramped and awkward, especially when moving the grill.
The work table hooks onto the rim of the grill, making that essentially the third leg of the table. I would prefer the work table to have its own third leg so it could stand alone while you clean or move the grill. The grill has wheels on it, and I do need to move it. But when doing so the table becomes unstable. Actually, the table is a little unstable even when stationary. It is so lightweight that it can be jostled very easily when you are working.
The construction and craftsmanship of this product are otherwise fine. You can pretty much see exactly what you're getting from the picture. The table top is plastic and there are three pegs for hanging utensils. For the price, I think that more heavy duty materials could have been used. Again, it is better than absolutely nothing if you need to set a plate down. A single plate, basically.
could be improved September 18, 2009 picky shopper (Federal Way WA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
It looks cute and makes the barbecue more fun and easy to use. The surface scratches too easily (my teenage son put it upside down on the concrete patio while he was attaching the legs, and it got visibly scratched) and the barbecue tools I already owned do not fit on the hanging pegs easily. Maybe if you buy the official Weber tools they fit better.
