DO NOT BUY...I REPEAT DO NOT BUY! February 22, 2010 Frank Dambra (STUDIO CITY, CA, US) This is the most useless thing I have purchased for my son. First of all it only covers one-third of the tub floor. Secondly, it WILL NOT!! stick. There is no point in buying this unless you are trying to waste money. I always read reviews, but in my haste to have a mat for my son's tub, I did not read any this time. MISTAKE!!! Whoever wrote how great this product is must work in sales or P.R. for the company that made it. Other than that, I cannot imagine why anyone would buy it. I would like to note that I give it ZERO stars. I am not rating the "cuteness" of a useless piece of plastic.
Ok, not great February 4, 2010 DMB Fan (Maryland) I purchased this for my niece who is 18 mons old and visiting. The mat is very thick and comes rolled up. It took awhile to get the memory curl out of it so it would even stick to the bottom of the tub. It is also small, so for a toddler who stands in the tub, it should cover most of the bottom of the tub and this one does not. Not great.
Disappointed January 12, 2010 Kagome USA (The Crossroads of America) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this bathmat for a number of reasons. I usually love Safety 1st products, I have the matching faucet cover in that bathroom, and my son's bathroom is froggie-themed. It seemed like the perfect no-slip mat, but it was too good to be true. It doesn't stick to the bottom of the tub at all. Weirdly enough, it does stick to the walls of the tub, but not the bottom. I could live with that, since my son would be sitting on it to keep it down, except that it came shipped all rolled up, and after two weeks of pressing it flat, it still will not stay unrolled. The moment I put it in the tub (dry!) it begins to roll back up, and add water and there is no chance it will stay down. I am very disappointed - I had to go out and buy another mat. The only reason I gave this 2 stars instead of one is that it is very cute, and I have ended up using it as wall-art, stuck to the side of the tub. But it serves no purpose besides appearance there.
Returned it/Won't stick January 10, 2010 Stacy Vance (Pasadena, Texas) I got this bath mat and was super excited. I wanted to love the product, but I can't. The darned thing will NOT stick. It was rolled up in the narrow box for packaging so it came out of the box a little rounded on the ends. I thought if I put it under something heavy for a few days it hold down better. Didn't work. Could have something to do with my bathtub being super old. Maybe the new plasticy ones will work better.
