Amazon.com Product Description The Unger 36-inch nifty nabber pick-up tool with aluminum handle makes it easy to pick up items from the ground or off shelves by squeezing the handle to wrap the claw around an object. It can hold objects as tiny as a penny or as heavy as 8 pounds. The rubber overmolded steel fingers provide gripping power without damaging objects.

Nifty? July 13, 2010 Kent Forrest "Mac User" (St. Louis) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this to pick up branches from my riding mower. Tired of stopping the mower to move or pick up branches. While the Unger Nifty is functional it did not serve that purpose very well since the pinchers BEND with heavy branches - smaller branches were no problem. Still, this did not resolve my issue.
I now use it to walk around the yard to pick up smaller sticks and leaf droppings - that works well.
The pincher is very good however and you can easily pick up an acorn.
Overall, it is very functional and worth the purchase. price.

The Unger grabb is a good tool for someone needing assistance with picking up or reaching for an item. It is light weight and compact. Only recommendation would be to have a lengthened handle within it but I am sure the price would be much higher. The rubber tips are sturdy for most pick-up actions. This was a worthy purchase.

Keeps me from getting off my Grasshopper and turning off the pto when I need to pick up trash while mowing. FYI, if you run over one of these with an engaged mower deck, you'll find Amazon is the cheapest place to buy a replacement ;-) Good product for picking trash and the 36" is easy to handle.
nifty nabber June 1, 2010 Rae Hanna (San Luis Obispo, CA) This gadget makes it easy to pick up things off the floor or in awkward places. It saves my back.
Disappointed May 29, 2010 James D. Lehew (Louisiana) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I needed something to pick up trash and small limbs when I cut grass on 2 1/2 acres. The grabber worked well with small trash, but the gears failed and once the pincers spread wide open while picking up a large limb, the pincers never closed again.
