 Decent bag, but doesn't last long July 8, 2010

I came onto Amazon today to order this bag again for the second time. It is the only available bag to match with our electric mower from B&D. The bag is on the small side but it works well enough for our front and back lawns. The metal support piece on the inside of the bag slowly rubs away the fabric in the corners and eventually will wear through. I only repair items once before I replace them with a new item, rather than trying to repair again and again. I had thought that I ordered this bag longer ago, but Amazon kindly reminded me that I last purchased this item in March 2009. It's July 2010 and I'm here to order the replacement bag, having already repaired the existing bag once using duct tape to support the corners. So, I was only able to get just over one year of service from the bag, even making small repairs on my own. Kind of disappointing. When this bag wears out in another year or so I'll probably replace the whole mower instead.

I just purchased this lawn mower and was surprised at how easy it was to use. Easy to put together too! I had read reviews that had said it was similiar to vacuuming and its so true. A lot of people complain about the cord and it being an issue, but for me it wasn't. I thought the whole process was easy and the mower was powerful enough to cut my lawn, which is fairly big. I didn't purchase the grass catching bag but probably will in the near future. I spent about 30 minutes raking up the grass that was cut and think it would be easier to just get the bag. I haven't used a lawn mower since I was a kid and I'm a single mom, and this was a piece of cake for me! The height adjustment for the grass length being cut was super easy too. And at this price you can't beat it for an electric mower. I would recommend this lawn mower to anyone.
